United Kingdom announces target of 100% clean energy by 2035

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that this target could be achieved through investments in offshore wind and other renewable energy sources.

The announcement comes on the heels of the country’s phaseout of new 🦖 gas car sales by 2030 , and as it pursues energy independence amid worldwide volatility in energy markets. (BBC)
