End Times according to the Judeo Christian Bible

What do people mean when they say: THE END TIMES ???
For those who wish to know what, exactly, the "End Times" mean to a bible Believing Christian, it is not difficult to summarize.

When Christ incarnated into human form around 2000 years ago, the End Times officially began. This is known as the 70th "week" according to the Book of Daniel. The End Times culminate with what is known as the Great Tribulation of 7 years duration.

After that, there is a Theocratic Rule by Jesus Christ on the physical earth for about 1000 years, which ends with a big war and Satan removed from any human contact forever, along with the dematerialization of the physical universe (rolled up like a scroll). The replacement is just as physical, more permanent and, unlike our fallen universe, perfect.

For all practical purposes, the Body of Christ, otherwise known as the Christian Church (NOT to be confused with ANY organization with buildings called churches or temples labelling themselves as "Christian" - although there may or may not be members of the Body of Christ there) ends it's Holy Spirit guided ministry on earth at the time of the Great Tribulation.

Some believe the Church will be not be raptured and must go though the Great Tribulation. Others believe the Church will be raptured (taken to heaven bodily without going though physical death) immediately before the Great Tribulation begins. That is, the absence of the Church on earth (along with the Holy Spirit that guided it) allows Satan to put his man, the Anti-Christ, in charge.

I will discuss these different views and point to the scripture (section of the bible with quote and explanation) that argues the different points of view.

Any news or views related to the End Times that I come across will be posted here. Questions and comments are welcome. Criticize all you want, but do not engage in Ad hominem attacks. Those will be deleted. Respectful posting is sine qua non in this topic and in this thread.

We ARE in the END TIMES and have been in them for over 2000 years. I believe the prophecies in the Book of Daniel about the Anti-Christ and the Great Tribulation are about to be fulfilled.

It is my duty as a Christian to warn people who are "Christian", in name only, that they are doomed if they do not stop the worship of materialistic prosperity that defames the Name of Jesus Christ.

I will have much more to say about the Laodicean Church type "Christians" as time goes by.

Before any discussion of the End Times, it is important to obtain some background on the history of the King James Bible.

End Times Prophecy includes Signs and Wonders. Although I am not certain, I am convinced that the massive environmental damage going on is evidence that we are in the End Times. This does not mean we are all supposed to ignore the criminal behavior of the polluters causing it. They belong in prison, not in corporate boardrooms or government.

It is an eery photo, the solar eclipse hovering over the deep south of the US as tropical storm Harvey aims for Texas, making landfall 8 days later causing unprecedented damage and record amounts of rainfall.

Thom takes a dark look into the Trump Administration's actions. How far will this go? A 10 year old is being detained... Really?

--- Quote ---Matthew 25:

41“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;

43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’

45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, in as much as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’

46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
--- End quote ---
