First Mercedes ⚡ electric trucks rolled off the line today too. Mercedes is going electric for their short-haul trucks, and hydrogen for their long-haul trucks.

A lot happening in trucking, I am reading more about trucks nowadays than cars, it's a just a bit more exciting atm.

"The first series-production ⚡ eActros rolled off the production line today at the Future Truck Center of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth"

"Daimler Trucks is focusing on hydrogen-powered fuel-cells for the electrification of its vehicles for flexible and demanding long-haul transport."

Another large market is electric vans.

Amazon put in an order for 1,800 ⚡ electric Mercedes vans.

German auto giant Mercedes-Benz announced its largest order of electric vehicles to date Friday: 1,800 electric delivery vans for retail giant Amazon.

Ok but can those H2 powered trucks go through places like:-
- The Mont Blanc Base Tunnel
- The Channel Tunnel
- The Gotthard Tunnel (on a train)
and probably more that don't come to mind at the moment.
If they are prohibited for very good reasons then why bother? 🤔
