Agelbert COMMENT: According to the most important study Dr. Robert Baron 👍 mentioned, if you are over 60 and have a BP less or equal to 150/90, you DO NOT NEED blood pressure lowering medications. I fully agree.

Don't take blood pressure medication if you do not need to. It can do more harm than good if you are above 60 years of age.

"A very old and frail person is more likely to feel better and have less fall risk with fewer medications and a systolic blood pressure higher than 150 or even 160."
