SIX bailed-out 🦖 polluters already spent $15m this year 😈 lobbying for subsidies and against climate action

Agelbert NOTE: Somehow, the 🦖 hydrocarbon 😈 hellspawn have managed to label BailoutWatch as a "phishing/malicious content" web site in Norton.

BailoutWatch is, not now, or ever has been, a "Malicious Content" web site. BailoutWatch is, as it has been since its inception, completely safe.

I am in the process of ensuring Norton classifies them properly.

Agelbert UPDATE: Norton has corrected their error. You may now visit the BailoutWatch web site to be kept up to date on all the underhanded tactics of the Fossil Fuelers.

SIX bailed-out 🦖 polluters already spent $15m this year 😈 lobbying for subsidies and against climate action

Six U.S.-based 🦖 oil and 🦕 gas companies that benefited from last year’s bailouts 😈 spent more than a million dollars apiece in the first half of 2021. They are: Chevron, Occidental, ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66, and Marathon Petroleum. ... ...

ConocoPhillips spent its lobbying dollars trying to to weaken protections for polar bears in oil drilling areas.

A common theme through the companies’ lobbying disclosures is their opposition to climate change-focused policies such as H.R. 1512 (the CLEAN Future Act), the Paris Climate Accord, and climate risk disclosure requirements.
