I never said Putin was the bad guy, but anybody who thinks he's a particularly good guy is demented. He's the baddest of a bad bunch, former Soviet KGB, who more or less stole the assets of the dying soviet Empire and divvied them up amongst themselves, with the tacit consent of the West, at the time.
He's a tough SOB oligarch who rules with an iron fist. Our oligarchs are stupid to **** with him so hard. They're very apt to regret it, and maybe sooner rather than later.
