PROOF that there is NO organized Christian Church in the USA

Poll: Majority Of Evangelicals Would Support Satan If He Ran As Republican Candidate

November 15, 2017

U.S.—A new LifeWay Research poll confirmed Wednesday that a majority of conservative evangelicals would vote for Satan, the Prince of Darkness, should he run for public office as a Republican candidate.

The poll found that 72% of self-identified evangelicals would vote and even campaign for the prince of fallen angels should he promise to promote Republican policies while in office.

“Most of those we surveyed agreed that they would in fact vote for Satan, as long as he verbally supported pro-life and pro-Second Amendment platform positions,” the head of the research study said. “A majority of respondents ‘strongly agreed’ that it was important for a candidate to pay lip service to the hot-button issues of the religious right, while strongly disagreeing that a candidate’s personal penchant for tempting countless millions of souls into the fires of hell would affect his public policies.”

“Lucifer? Yeah, I’d vote for him, as long as he claims to be a Republican,” one member of a study focus group said. “He’s got some character flaws, sure—who doesn’t—but we’ve got to remember that ensuring we Christians get some fleeting political power is far more important than whether our chosen candidate does a little soul-devouring on the side.”

The poll also looked at related issues, such as the willingness of evangelicals  to overlook or minimize major moral failings in human candidates.

“Personal indiscretions, shady business dealings, making blood sacrifices to Azathoth the Daemon Sultan in secret—Christians are now willing to forgive literally everything if it means they’ll have some kind of political clout,” the study head told reporters. “Our findings confirm that conservative Christians are actually more likely to vote for mobsters, cultists, and hellish demon kings than any other demographic.

At publishing time, study officials had confirmed evangelicals would also be willing to support Sith lords, elder gods, and the evil Dr. Robotnik if they were to run for office as members of the GOP.

Agelbert Observation: Yeah, the above is satire. But the evidence is irrefutable that the WALK of the overwhemling majority (at leat 72%) of these pseudo-Christians is the exact opposite of the "we follow Jesus Christ's teachings" TALK. While it is true that these pseudo-Christians have never actually voted for Lucifer, the entitiy that Jesus Christ called the Prince of this world, they did vote for an adequate representative.

There are some Doomstead Diners that love to ridicule and condemn Christianity (i.e. the teachings of Jesus Christ) based on the voting habits of the pseudo-Christians from the American Organized Mainstream Orwellian Christian Churches, like those that dominate Texas and Florida politics, though the demonic influence of these War loving bastions of gun nuttery and bigotry is not limited to those two states. These crazed bigot factories are firmly entrenched all over the USA   These Lucifer worshipping Churches are funded and religiously supported by their fellow Social Darwinist Religionists from the Military Industrial Complex AND Big Oil AND many 'Second Amendment' fetish gun lovers AND white supremacists AND (so on you get the 'might is right' idea).

So, the next time you fine felllows want to finger the "Christians" for the profit over people and planet woes cursing the USA, I suggest you remember that the nominal Christian Churches in the USA were long ago infiltrated (i.e. flipped to anti-Christian ideology) by the lovers of war and selective law enforcement in our IMPERIALIST/CAPITALIST government, who wanted to MAKE SURE this country NEVER espoused Christian behavior in foreign or domestic policy.

The RELIGION of most Doomstead Diners, like that of the pseudo-Christians who voted for Trump, and would vote for Lucifer himself if he he gave lip service to their spoon fed wedge issues, is Social Darwinism.

True, you Diners aren't being suckered into forking over 10% of your income to some sanctimonious charlatan crook running a con. And you save a little more money by not being preached to at in some building once a week or so. You are also far more objective than the pseudo-Christians church goers who delude themselves into believing that they worship Christ instead of Mammon. You materialsts have done all that scientific caloric math and haven't found any intrinsic thermodynamic value in the energy density of spiritual powers or the promise of salvation in the afterlife. Like all materialsts would say, "If ya can't measure it, it ain't there".

But in a way, you are even greater suckers than the pseudo-Christians. How can that be? Well, at least they actually believe that Lucifer exists. Lucifer has you by the cognitive short hairs because, not only do you scoff at the very idea of fallen angels, but you do not even want to admit that evil exists!

Quote
May 14, 2014 ... “Maybe his [Satan's] greatest achievement in these times has been to make us believe that he does not exist, and that all can be fixed on a purely human level,” said Pope Francis.

The CHURCH of Jesus Christ, since Jesus Christ founded it, has ALWAYS been composed of the members of the BODY of Christ. It has NEVER been a building. It will never be a human organization composed of a hierarchy. It is a group of humans who serve Jesus Christ, PERIOD. Many of those people who are destined for salvation do not even know they will be saved or that they are already serving Jesus Christ. Many who believe they are serving Jesus Christ and are saved will be damned. Only God knows. But I am certain we will all be judged by our actions (i.e. fruit/behavior), not by our words.

Apologies to John McPherson for Agelbert Fair Use Cartoon tampering.  ;D

What Christmas Means

By Chris Hedges

SNIPPET:

Quote
Jesus was not a Roman citizen. He lived under Roman occupation. The Romans were white. Jesus was a person of color. And the Romans, who peddled their own version of white supremacy, nailed people of color to crosses almost as often as we finish them off with lethal injections, gun them down in the streets or lock them up in cages. The Romans killed Jesus as an insurrectionist, a revolutionary. They feared the radicalism of the Christian Gospel. And they were right to fear it. The Roman state saw Jesus the way the American state saw Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. Then, like now, prophets were killed.

The radicalism of the Christian Gospel would be muted, distorted and denied by the institutional church once it came to power in the third century. It would be perverted by court theologians, church leaders and, in the 20th century, fascists. It would be mangled by the heretics in the Christian right to sanctify the worst aspects of American imperialism and capitalism. The Bible unequivocally condemns the powerful. It is not a self-help manual to become rich. It does not bless America or any other nation. It was written for the powerless, for those the theologian James Cone calls the crucified of the earth. It was written to give a voice to, and affirm the dignity of, those being crushed by malignant power and empire.

Agelbert NOTE: All true followers of Christ get the same treatment in this valley of tears.
Quote
Proverbs 18:7 All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.

But all that abuse and rejection by the lovers of this world, especially if they are brethren, is worth it.
Quote
Luke 9

23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels
.

NORTH CAROLINA RELIGIOUS GROUP HELD “CHILD SLAVES”

Thursday January 11, 2018

Leaders of an “alternative religious group” in Cumberland, North Carolina have been arrested for forcing children as young as nine to work in fish markets to help fund the organization. Four have been arrested thus far though police have arrest warrants for six other suspects.

WRAL reports:

The group lives on a compound off McCollum Road in Godwin known as McCollum Ranch and operates at least three John C’s Fish Markets and mobile grills in Fayetteville and one in Lumberton, authorities said. Several former residents told authorities that children of members had to work full time in the fish markets with little to no compensation, lifting heavy boxes, keeping fish iced, cutting fish and cleaning, as well as performing construction and maintenance on the mobile grills after hours.

John McCollum, who runs the fish markets, Brenda Joyce Hall, Cornelia McDonald and Pamela Puga Luna have been arrested on charges of operating a continuing criminal enterprise, involuntary servitude of a minor, obtaining property by false pretense and conspiracy. Arrest warrants on the same charges have been issued for Shirley McNatt, Daffene Edge, Kassia Rogers, Irish Williams, Shirnitka McNatt and Earlene Hayat.

Lt. Sean Swain, spokesman for the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, added that the cult has abused children for years. “We found that kids are like second generation of the ranch and that some of the people that we’ve charged in this were actually victimized years ago. They’ve just never left this ranch, and now their kids are second-generation victims,” he said.

McCollum is being held in the Cumberland County jail under a $1.1 million bond along with Hall, McDonald, and Luna.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of the other six suspects to call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.

How Can Conservatives Claim to be Pro Life and Still Oppose DACA?

Thom takes a call from a conservative who although claiming to be pro life still doesn't care about immigrant lives? What about Dreamers and DACA recipients? Are they not lives in the eyes of conservatives?

Billy Graham was on the wrong side of history

Matthew Avery Sutton

SNIPPET:

When Billy Graham stands before the judgment seat of God, he may finally realize how badly he failed his country, and perhaps his God. On civil rights and the environmental crisis, the most important issues of his lifetime, he championed the wrong policies.

Agelbert NOTE: As a Christian, I am CERTAIN that Billy Graham, a staunch friend of Richard Nixon , failed God continually. Graham is a textbook example of the Corporate Fascist Corruption of Christianity in the USA. Graham chose power and privilege over justice and truth. IOW, Graham worshipped MAMMON instead of God.

WHAT IS MAMMON?

by Creflo Dollar | 9 Apr 2017

SUMMARY

Jesus did not throw words around, so it is significant that he used the word “mammon” at least four times in the New Testament. When he used it, he did not simply mean money; he deliberately used the word “mammon” to show us what happens when we become attached to money. But mammon’s influence does not just stop with wealth. If we are not vigilant, this spirit will extend to every area of our lives and convince us to trust it instead of God. It tries to motivate us to do more things for it than for God, with the goal of replacing God as the source of what we need. In the book of Exodus, this spirit convinced the people that they did not need God, and its strategy has not changed This evil spirit will deliberately lead us astray and abandon us, but God will always extend his mercy and grace when we need him.

A. Mammon is not money. It is the spirit of deceitful riches that lies to us.

He who is faithful in that which is least is also faithful in much, and he who is unjust in the least is also unjust in much (Luke 16:10-14).

Jesus’ parable, as well as the entire chapter, is about a steward who was unfaithful with his master’s goods because he was influenced by mammon.

The original translation of mammon is “deceitful riches.” Money with the spirit of mammon on it becomes deceitful.

Money is neither good nor bad; it takes on the spirit of who has it. How it is used depends on whether its owner is under the influence of God or mammon.

Mammon refers to the desire to pursue wealth as a primary goal in life. The Bible says to seek God first, and everything else will be added (Matthew 6:33).

The devil took Jesus up to a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. He said to him, I will give you all these things if you will fall down and worship me (Matthew 4:8, 9).

Mammon tried to seduce Jesus; there is no reason not to think it would try the same trick with us.

Whatever mammon offers us is deceitful. Everything from this spirit is designed to fool us into thinking that walking with it will end well, but mammon always leaves us in a pit.

When Jesus entered Jericho, Zacchaeus climbed a tree to see him as he passed by. Jesus looked up and saw him, and said to Zacchaeus to come down quickly, because he had to stay at his house that day. Jesus then told another parable to teach about the link between money and faithfulness (Luke 19:2-24).

Zacchaeus first felt the favor of God when Jesus looked up and greeted him.

Zacchaeus had previously been under the spirit of mammon, but a meeting with Jesus freed him to become a giver.

B. We must be careful not to unwittingly make mammon our god.

Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6).

We are told to be anxious for nothing. Being anxious about our unmet needs is a sign that we worship mammon.

No one can serve two masters; either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and be against the other. You cannot serve God and deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in (Matthew 6:24-32, AMPC).
We must stop being perpetually uneasy, anxious, and worried.

Aim at and strive for first of all his kingdom and righteousness, his way of doing and being right, and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. Do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble (Matthew 6:33, 34, AMPC).

When we live in the present instead of the future, the Holy Spirit will give us the grace need at the moment.

We need not fear the future.

Palmer Report

Worshipping Donald Trump

Tim Faulkner

Updated: 7:59 pm EST Sun Feb 25, 2018

It’s been said that it’s rude to discuss politics and religion in a social setting. That is becoming more and more difficult to avoid given the current political environment. With the advent of social media, more people began feeling comfortable sharing their beliefs on all issues, despite now having an even larger audience than when previous conversations were done at the dinner table or perhaps after a few drinks at the bar, when lips are loose and true opinions flow faster than the beer tap.

With the recent death of Evangelist Billy Graham there is even more discussion than normal of religion by those in politics. The rise of Donald Trump, and his subsequent support by those that claim to be extremely religious, is still odd. With absolutely zero evidence of Trump ever being religious prior to his presidential run so-called Christians seemed to flock to him as the second coming of Christ.

Their near worship of him, to this day, is baffling. The fact that Donald Trump still carries a high approval rating among Evangelicals is almost laughable, and certainly confusing. Despite all of the facts coming forward almost daily, involving Trump’s multiple affairs with p o r n stars and Playboy playmates, the “religious right” continue to make excuses for him.

So what could possibly explain the praise, admiration, and even idolization Evangelicals show towards a man who exhibits literally zero of the attributes taught by any religion? Are the followers simply brainwashed, believing every word their leaders push? Why are top Evangelicals willing to sell out their faith to gain supporters? Perhaps for the very same reason that Trump was happy to sell out America: for money and power. One thing is certain – fake prophets seem willing to do anything for real profits.

Fitzgerald made her name with her now classic Fire in the Lake, which won both the Pulitzer and the National Book Award and is still considered one of the best accounts of the Vietnam War. Her sixth book chronicles the social and political roles of Evangelicals in America. Now constituting twenty-five percent of the American population, Evangelicals have helped shape the country since the Puritans, though they became a dominant force only with the Great Awakenings of the nineteenth century. A populist rebellion centered in revivals, the movement split along North-South lines with the Civil War, then into modernist-fundamentalist factions. Preachers like Billy Graham worked to unite the groups, but the turbulent 1960s divided them further.

Truthout

In Upholding Muslim Ban, the Supreme Court Ignored International Law

Marjorie Cohn Truthout

PUBLISHED July 1, 2018

SNIPPET:

Evidence of the Discriminatory Nature of the Travel Ban

Even though the Supreme Court majority held that the ban did not violate the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment, much evidence exists to the contrary.

The Establishment Clause says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” That means “one religious denomination cannot be officially preferred over another,” according to Supreme Court case law.

After quoting a few of Trump’s anti-Muslim statements, Roberts noted, “the issue before us is not whether to denounce the statements” but rather “the significance of those statements in reviewing a Presidential directive, neutral on its face, addressing a matter within the core of executive responsibility.” Roberts added, “we must consider not only the statements of a particular President, but also the authority of the Presidency itself.”

Roberts wrote that the Court could consider the president’s statements “but will uphold the policy so long as it can reasonably be understood to result from a justification independent of unconstitutional grounds.” Courts must give great deference to the president in immigration matters and will uphold his policy if it has any legitimate purpose, Roberts noted. “The entry suspension has a legitimate grounding in national security concerns, quite apart from any religious hostility.” The text doesn’t specifically mention religion, so Roberts wrote it was “neutral on its face.”

Sotomayor spent seven of the 28 pages of her dissent listing more than a dozen statements by Trump denigrating Muslims. She cited the policy’s initial purpose as a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States,” in Trump’s words. But that policy “now masquerades behind a façade of national security concerns,” Sotomayor wrote.

She quoted a Trump adviser who said, “When [Donald Trump] first announced it, he said, ‘Muslim ban.’” Sotomayor also listed Trump’s declarations that “Islam hates us,” “we’re having problems with Muslims coming into the country,” and “Muslims do not respect us at all.”

Trump said President Franklin D. Roosevelt “did the same thing” with his internment of Japanese Americans during World War II, Sotomayor noted. Trump told a story about General John J. Pershing killing a large group of Muslim insurgents in the Philippines with bullets dipped in pig’s blood. When he issued his first ban, Trump explained that Christians would be given preference for entry as refugees into the United States. He also retweeted three anti-Muslim videos.

“Taking all the relevant evidence together,” Sotomayor wrote, “a reasonable observer would conclude that the Proclamation was driven primarily by anti-Muslim animus, rather than by the Government’s asserted national security justifications.” The Proclamation, she added, “is nothing more than a ‘religious gerrymander.'
