Add to this the effect on balance sheets when all the corporations that did buybacks over the last ten years will have to start showing losses on the stock they bought and now hold at prices below where they paid. This will be an even bigger problem for ratings agencies to quantify if the stock market continues to feed the bear.

All of the stupid excesses of the last 11 years and longer will now come back to bite companies in their hind quarters, and that will destroy the economy.

Also look at the debt levels and maturities of debt owed in the financial reports of most all big companies.

How will they fare when they have to re-finance in a world where the yield curve will stand on its head in the face of unprecedented government borrowing and the debasing of national currencies to finance recovery or bail out programs?

How does a WalMart or Amazon finance bulging inventories when customers stop buying?

The next year will be shocking to say the least as some companies with great histories will be unable to finance their businesses except at rates of interest they cannot afford.

The next day delivery will end and the companies that made their name on rapid delivery will fall. And fall they will, in at least one case I know of we're talking about perhaps 2000 points if what happened in the great Depression repeats.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matt 10:37
