The fingerprint, ear and cloud pics are CHOSEN to fit well.
Can a snail do addition?
Or a plant?
Or is it because Fib(n) is a rough approximation of k.en - a generalised exponential?

Of course the graphics are chosen because they are "best fit", but the spiral is quite ubiquitous through nature.  And yea, that is partly because it reflects exponential growth.  But that is the point here.  Once it begins, life grows this way.  Not always the perfect spiral, but as long as there is energy around it continues to grow.  There will be energy around in surplus in the Universe for quite some time to come.  I expect therefore numerous new spirals will also come into existence.

All of us have seen a world map at some point in our lives before, but it is very difficult to imagine how certain countries and parts of the world compare to each other in size that are far apart. In this video, I explore why the world looks very different than how it is portrayed in the Mercator Projection map. I then go on to explore how certain countries are unexpectedly larger or smaller than what they appear to be, and how some places looks wildly different than our perceptions.

PS; Don't totally hate on the Mercator Projection, it's actually a really useful map for navigation and on keeping the correct shape of countries while sacrificing the size that we can all laugh about!

ASCII Emojis are just like text you keyboard.  They each have a code behind them and each platform has its own version of the character.  So what you see on Apple looks a little different than what you see on Windows or Google or Android.

The easiest way to add them to your text is to go to https://emojipedia.org/ and copy/paste into your text.

Procedure is as follows:

1- Open up a window with the https://emojipedia.org/ website
2- Click on the category of emoji you are looking for or type the keyword in the SEARCH box at the top of the page.  If there is an emoji for it, the search will find it.
3- Click on the emoji you want to use, and a new screen for that emoji pops up.
4- Click the "copy" button for that emoji
5- Go back to the window where you were keyboarding and paste (ctrl+V) wherever you want (including in the Subject (Title) Field)

No html or bbcode tags are necessary.  It's just like a text character.

Knarf, so far no ASCII Emoji for the NTHE Symbol.  You do have the Skull & Crossbones though!

RE's advice is good and proper. But RE didn't mention what I immediately became confused by and I'm sure you were confused by as well. Teaching is not RE's strong forte, to put it mildly.  ;)

Here's the deal:

1. Those dad gum emojies do NOT show up in the preview, but they DO show up when you post in the title or in your post.

2. Just put a bunch of them in a wordpad document and copy and paste the one you want as the occasion requires it. (i.e. go to the https://emojipedia.org/nature/ web site and copy and paste into a blank wordpad document you label as Emojies text fun and games).

3. Save your emojies wordpad document and open it when you are posting.

4. I have my emojies document open now and I will now copy and paste an appropriate representation of a lousy teacher: 🦀 This can be placed in the title the same way.

5. In the body of your post you can make it bigger by just making it bold and increasing the font size too🦀

6. Have fun but remember RE doesn't want us to have too much fun or he will rain thunder upon we mortals.  

7. One more thing: The font that Microsoft interprets the emojies as having is Segoe UI Symbol. This means a few of the emojies don't show properly in your document. I haven't figured my way around that. I hope da godfader is in a good mood and will kindly show is how to do dat widout to much hair pulling and so on. 🐉

Espiritu Santo, the largest island of the Vanuatu archipelago in the South Pacific, was transformed by the United States into a military sup er 1941. The balmy island became a convenient hub for striking back at Japan during World War II. When the fighting stopped, the U.S. military left behind roads, buildings, and runways, but they couldn't get the French and British colonial authorities to agree to buy the supplies that the Americans wouldn't be able to transport back home. Agelbert NOTE: Here's a sample of the (coral encrusted and thoroughly rusted items  :P) that can be viewed at Million Dollar Point. Tires seem to hold up quite well. ;D Perhaps, if there is air in those tires still, a team of scientists will take a sample of 1945 air to use as a control for comparing with modern, thoroughly polluted, air.

On January 28, 1986 despite the warnings of engineers not to launch in freezing temperatures, NASA management chose to launch Space Shuttle Challenger.  The result was the loss of 7 astronauts in a horrific explosion 73 seconds later when flames from a solid rocket booster leak from a **** o-ring and burned through the main fuel tank.  The solid rocket boosters remained intact after the explosion and continued on out of control before mission control sent a self destruct signal to them so they could not cause destruction on the ground.

This video gives a detailed and technical explanation of the entire Challenger accident including pre-launch assembly, launch, post-launch, and accident investigation. It is highly recommended that the entire video be viewed to get a full understanding of the Space Shuttle Challenger accident.
