Warren Accuses Congress of Complicity in Trump’s Continued Abuses

As to Warren and her correct accusation that the ALL Republican Senators (and probably about 30% of the Democrats as well) are aiding and abetting Trump's Presidential Self Enrichment  Crime Spree, this despicable behavior is as old as U.S. Senate.

Way back in 1803, a fine Federalist fellow and signer of the Declaration of Independence named Samuel Chase (named to the Supreme Court by George Washington) was exposed by then POTUS Thomas Jefferson as a biased (i.e. anti-democratic elitist stufffed shirt who railed against U.S. "mobocracy") BULLSHIT ARTIST. The House impeached Chase on 8 counts and the Senate aquitted him on all of them, voting 18 to 16.

Backed by public opinion and President Jefferson, in 1804, the House voted to impeach Supreme Court Justice Samuel Chase, 73–32. The Senate voted against conviction, 18–16.

But that was not all. You and I know that the Senate is basically an oligarchic defense mechanism, but that particular Senate Sideshow 😇🤡 by 🎩😈 Aaron Burr, who as vice president presided over the impeachment trial, ensured, in addition to the Senate 🐒 Bought and Paid fers, an oligarchic OWNED 👹🎩 Judicial branch CONTINUOUSLY corrupting the U.S. Government FROM THEN ON!

Burr was praised for his handling of the trial.  

At the conclusion of the trial Burr said: This House is a sanctuary; a citadel of law, of order, and of liberty; and it is here–in this exalted refuge; here if anywhere, will resistance be made to the storms of political phrensy and the silent arts of corruption.

Burr seemed to know Orwellian discourse before Orwell! That shows how inherently UN-democratic and PRO-oligarchic most of the U.S. elite were from the start.

The impeachment raised constitutional questions over the nature of the judiciary and was the end of a series of efforts to define the appropriate extent of judicial independence under the Constitution. It set the limits of the impeachment power, fixed the concept that the judiciary was prohibited from engaging in partisan politics , defined the role of the judge in a criminal jury trial, and clarified judicial 😈 independence. The construction was largely attitudinal, as it modified political norms without codifying new legal doctrines  😉.

Warren's accusations will be ignored in the U.S. Senate AND the U.S. Supreme Court.
