URLINGTON — Vermont State Police bomb squad and Burlington Police responded to a report of a suspicious package at Sen. Bernie Sanders’ office Thursday.

Sanders’ Church Street office and the building it is in was evacuated, BPD deputy chief Jon Murad said.

“Out of an abundance of caution we evacuated his offices and the building as we assess it,” Murad said.

Burlington Police received a call about the package, which came in the mail, from Sanders staff at 11:42 a.m.

Murad said at 4:15 p.m. that law enforcement was continuing to assess the package.

Murad said there were no plans to close Church Street as police deal with the situation.

Another suspicious package was delivered to Sanders’ St. Johnsbury office earlier this month, prompting a response from police, firefighters and state hazmat crews.

St. Johnsbury’s fire chief said an electronics company had sent the empty box so the senator’s staff could return something.

Back in 2016 TPTB tried ignoring him, then mocking him. That did not work. Sanders would have won the Democratic nomination and the presidency in 2016. That's why 😈 Hillary Clinton, a card carrying representative of TPTB, had to rig the primaries against Sanders.

2020 Presidential Candidate Sanders, though no media outlet or "official poll" will admit it, is America's favorite Candidate for POTUS. So now the jackals are being brought in.  

If a 'suspicious package' had been delivered to Moscow Mitch's offices, this would be all over the news. For Sanders, a champion of we-the-people and the last hope we have for JUSTICE in the USA, all you hear is crickets.
